Strategic Direction

Big Week Out has three current strategic goals:

Central preparation of common resources

Introducing "mini-teams"

Many of the resources and tools used by each base are for the same purpose, so we will aim to create these once centrally and then distribute.

Mini-teams will run for a short period of time (2-3 months) with a focus on a particular area of Big Week Out organisation. They will be made up of people from all bases, working together to develop and improve our processes.

in 2017, Mini-teams run from July - October in these areas: Events, Admin, Leadership, and Marketing.

Sustainable growth into new bases

Growing wisely and prayerfully throughout Adelaide

We really want to grow Big Week Out across Adelaide so we can reach more communities with God's love - but we want to make sure that we do this in a way that is sustainable.

This means that we will be prayerfully and wisely considering planting new bases, thinking long term about how we connect with local churches and their surrounding community.

Keeping BWO on track for years to come

We value the wisdom of those who have more experience in working with camps and organisations like Big Week Out and want to seek out support as we make decisions into the future.

We will be looking to form a board or committee to help us as we plan Big Week Out, ensuring that we stick to our mission and vision long into the future.
