Preparation: Regional Task Force (RTF)

The RTF is the operating group which brings together all elements of your Big Week Out project. They are the organising core, the people who work 6 months prior to bring the project to completion.

The Big Week Out Organisational Chart details the roles and functions contained with the project.

There are two kinds of roles:

Static Roles:

These are retained for the duration of the Big Week Out project.
Static Roles include:

  • Project Manager
  • Administrator
  • Accounts
  • Secretariat

Dynamic Roles:

These are filled as the need demands. For example, initially a great deal of work will be done by Promotions. Closer to the project execution less promotional work is needed. It is best if each of the roles function with a team and team leader. Once completed, the people within these can be be reassigned to other tasks.

Dynamic Roles include:

  • Promotion/Communication roles
  • Logistic roles
  • Team roles
